We really believe that God has said yes to us doing 2nd year BSSM, which is much more about developing us as leaders, to further equip us for everything He has for us in the future. As we have often heard this year, if you have a dream and can work out how you’re going to get there, it’s not big enough! God loves us to partner with him and believe for the impossible; it’s an exciting place to be, and let’s be honest, sometimes frightening!
Right now we are facing many deadlines; deadline to move from one place we are visiting to the next, deposit needed for tuition fees, car lease, full tuition fees, plane tickets, life decisions, to name a few!
I don’t know about you and how you respond to deadlines. I like deadlines when I can be ready for them before they happen. There are others where it is completely out of my hands, and I then have to wrestle with my heart and my emotional response. Fear has triumphed more than I would have liked at times, and simply ignoring is not a healthy response either. Praying to a loving father, who already knows our needs before we ask, isn’t therefore about reminding him about our needs, but about engaging our heart with His and coming into Heaven’s perspective. Persistence in prayer isn’t about wearing God down, but about strengthening us for the breakthrough. This is where we have been for the last few weeks; learning to keep bringing our hearts to to our Father and fully surrender and trust in His goodness, timing and abundant provision.
As someone who is partnering with us, we want to be upfront with details on our current financial needs and deadlines. We look to our loving Father for all that we need. He loves to hear our requests - ‘you do not have because you do not ask’. Justyn is working hard with the booking system that he runs for Christian events, and we’re thankful for God’s provision with that, however because we’re on student visas in the States, were not allowed to earn money there.
We’ve already had provision for all the boys school fees, and praise God for it. By the end of this month we are believing for the money needed for:
- Tuition Fees for Justyn & Josie - £7,700
- Flights - £2,472
- Car hire for the year - £2,700
- Health Insurance - £1,000
We also have monthly on going costs for rent and general living of around £2,400. We’re thankful for our friend, Daniel, who’ll be living with us this year and will help towards these costs!
Please can we ask to you to prayerfully consider whether you would like to partner with us and invest in our family? Any amount, as a one-off, or monthly giving helps! You can give directly to Bethel (see links below), to us, or if a UK tax payer through Church in the Peak.....& we get the extra tax back! Emailfor more details.
Thank you so much for your on going support and love for our family. It’s a crazy adventure and we love having you as part of it! Please keep in touch, we love to hear from you all and all that is happening in your lives!
